The concept of a dream is a crazy thing to explore.
Imagine you're a sleep, all of a sudden you're somewhere else, miles away from your bed and being involved in things you never thought you would be involved in. What's crazy is that dreams never begin from our bed. At least we never see them originating from where we're sleeping. If we fell asleep and as when we started dreaming we'd see ourselves in bed waking up and go do whatever the dream intales. That would at least be a starting point to make sense of what really happens in a dream.
When we're dreaming, how much of us is involved both physically and spiritually? Can we even have the ability to manipulate our dreams? In a way I can say I have manipulated my dream. I was dreaming and then I got aware that I was dreaming. I dreamt a similar dream multiple times and then I started to have a say in it or participated willingly. It was a crazy experience. I also discovered the ability to continue a dream. I've always wanted to do this… so one night I did. I woke up while dreaming and then decided that I didn't see enough, I then went asleep with the same thought and the intention of continuing where I left off and it worked.
In a dream, how are we involved? My attempt to answer this question is seeing through our third eye. Everyone has one but not everyone has willingly opened theirs or knows how to. Others who do, open it through meditation. Look it up. I believe that when we're asleep and our body is at rest, the subconscious mind takes over and explores beyond the depths of our minds but focuses more on the energy within us that is connected with the universe and the source.
Our minds are a distraction because they're a construction of ourselves and they're influenced by our personalities which in turn are manipulated by our perceptions of the world and our surroundings. We're involved in dreams through our true essence, that's why dreams are so intense when they happen. What makes it hard to manipulate or participate willingly is because I think that we become somewhat disconnected from our normal realities that we cannot comprehend what truly is going on.
What's the craziest dream you've ever had? How did it make you feel and what was so uncommon about it even though almost every dream is uncommon? Basically, what was your takeaway from such?
