Catfish

I get on my board and i surf

The waves are too heavy

Reminder, i'm playing in the wrong turf

I try to rebel but like many

I fail so i fall

Below the surface of the water

I'm devastated it's my fault

Fortunately, i rebound

And get caught in a huge net

Like it was to be bound

Then i meet a sea creature

Unlike a mermaid, it's also terrestrial

As keen as it is, it needs patience

since i fell, i start to crawl in it's nest

And introduce myself as genuine

I'm let inside so i rest

The feeling is mutual so we imagine our life together as lovers of the sea
