Beyond Black

 

Red & blue lights flashing beyond black

Forcing the black to stand still.

Drowning in absolute fear,

The black is held against its will

 

Death is closer as red & blue comes near.

Boys in blue on the rear-view,

Death wears a uniform.

Blacks buried daily, left with a few,

Radios on, maydays on the com.

 

They die like flies exposed to pesticide.

Arrested for working hard and not resting

Black over white, I already chose a side

R.I.P to the dead but we know they are not resting,

They fight beyond life and death has lost

 

Because we never decline, we multiply

We are just on borrowed bodies we host

We never dial S.O.S because they take our lives

White has never been so dark,

Ending us darks, envying our freedom

 

Chanting black lives matter! they reply with a bad remark

Nowadays we accomplish on being alive.

They kill us instead of locking us down during a lockdown

They continue to abuse the law we abide

Beautiful crown Victoria they broke your crown

 

We are being hunted every day on your account,

They are white but they cannot see the light

Black over white, blacks dying we lost count

We are not afraid; you ride by and we remain insight
