Make peace

Acceptance is a rare thing and most souls struggle to adapt
They refuse to bend to nature or abide by the rules of life
Truth is, we make our own rules
We only have our bodies to rule
But our souls don't belong to us
We are merely borrowed
Life is what we decide for it to be
And truth be, we can't control it's course
We just have to make peace
Our mentality is what matters
Negative thoughts lead us astray
And positive ones make a way
For hope and dreams to keep us in our paths
